Shipping
Shipping to UK and EU ports averages around £1000 (It does vary depending on specific vehicles and where in the US it is being shipped from)
Delivery to the UK and EU usually takes around 5-9 weeks.
When a vehicle arrives at the UK port you usually have up to 1 week to pay the Import VAT and Import Duty (E386 or E388) before the vehicle is released from the port as after 1 week they will usually charge a daily holding fee.
Prior to registering the vehicle in the UK you will need:
- US Registration Documents
- US Bill of Sale
- Bill of Lading
- Proof of UK insurance for the Vehicle
- A completed V55/5 Form
- MOT certificate if the car is over 3 years old
- Cars that are up to 10 years old need proof of passing an SVA test
